Born from one deaf dog nobody understood.
Paws For Big Hearts is a disabled-veteran-founded rescue that began out of love for a dog who was near euthanasia because his local shelter thought he was untrainable — turns out he was just deaf. Our founder adopted him, and saw how much more help the San Antonio community needed. That's how PFBH was born.
